Our Coaches

Welcome to my yoga classes where ancient wisdom meets modern wellness.

My name is Barkha Jain and I am a certified YCB Level-3 Yoga Instructor with a deep-rooted passion for holistic health. My journey with yoga began early—when I was in 8th grade, watching yoga teacher program in Doordarshan India’s national television channel. Since then, yoga has remained a thread throughout my life, weaving itself into every chapter.

Academically, I hold a degree in Science (Zoology, Botany & chemistry) and have pursued Hotel Management from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi. Currently, I am enhancing my understanding of wellness by pursuing an Ayurvedic Diet & Nutrition course, bringing together the ancient sciences of food and lifestyle.

Although I’ve explored a wide range of physical disciplines—Zumba, strength training, music cardio with weights—I always found myself returning to the grounding and transformative power of yoga. I have practiced and studied various styles including Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Iyengar Yoga, and more, both in India and the U.S., gaining a broad and inclusive perspective on the discipline.

My real turning point came post-childbirth when I developed severe sciatica. After months of consulting doctors and trying treatments with no relief, I turned to yoga with full commitment. Through consistent practice, I healed completely—without medication. That experience changed everything. Not only did I recover, but I also found that yoga and meditation helped me manage other physical and emotional challenges with grace and strength.

This personal transformation inspired me to go deeper into the science of yoga, not just for myself, but to help others discover its immense benefits. Today, I teach with the intention to empower others—to connect mind, body, and spirit, and to cultivate sustainable well-being through movement, breath, and mindful living.

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced practitioner, I welcome you to join this journey—because yoga is not just an exercise, it’s a lifestyle, a healing tool, and a way of returning home to yourself.
